Laser treatment for capillaries

Laser treatment for capillaries

Red nose, vascular blemishes on cheeks may cause psychological and aesthetic discomfort in both men and women. According to experts and patients themselves, the laser removal of capillaries is a modern, safe, and effective treatment method.

Agnė Bagdonė, a dermatologist at Clinicus Klaipėda aesthetic medicine clinic, describes how to treat facial capillaries using a laser by the German manufacturer Asclepion Lazer Technologies.

Quadro Star Pro Yellow, one of the most advanced lasers by this manufacturer, helps get rid of spider veins on the face (telangiectasia), hemangiomas, and the so-called “spider” naevi. This laser can remove capillaries and prevent unwanted redness not only in the area of the face, but also on the skin of the legs.

Blood vessel removal using a laser is a simple procedure for treating superficial vascular lesions. During the procedure, the nozzle of the laser (two nozzles are used for the treatment of larger areas of the skin) moves thoroughly over the skin.

Enlarged facial capillaries are removed by working the skin with the laser, covering a millimetre after a millimetre, which takes up to 10 minutes and about 30 minutes where all facial skin is treated. If the areas of enlarged capillaries on the face are large, you may need 2–3 treatments.

The price of removing capillaries and visible redness in the face area is between € 80 and 150; laser treatment of various vascular lesions: between € 30 and 50.
